Another week has gone by in the NFL and we will bring you all the thrills and spills from another great weekend. The Cardinals shock Russel Wilson’s Seahawks, but Seattle’s DK Metcalf perhaps has already claimed the highlight of the season. The Browns and Baker Mayfield get a win and how long will it be until Big Ben and the Steelers lose?

The Philadelphia Eagles get a close comeback win over the New York Giants

In a low scoring game in which both offences struggled a lot, the Giants were leading by 11 points with 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Carson Wentz then returned to form as he scored 2 touchdowns in the remaining time. Despite also having 2 failed 2-points conversions on those touchdowns the Eagles still edged out the Giants 21-22.

The Atlanta Falcons lose to the Detroit Lions after scoring an accidental touchdown

In a surprisingly interesting game between two struggling teams, the Lions were able to win 23-22 after Todd Gurley scored an accidental touchdown with 1 minute left. Down 2 points the Falcons drove down the field and the plan was just to run out the clock and score a field goal to win the game. However, Todd Gurley broke through and accidentally scored a touchdown with 1 minute left.

The Falcons defence then couldn’t stop Matt Stafford who drove down the field and scored the winning TD.

The Cleveland Browns beat the Cincinnati Bengals behind 5 touchdowns from Baker Mayfield

In an exciting game with 2 great quarterback performances, the Browns got a narrow victory 37-34. Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield had a great game as he threw for 297 yards and 5 touchdowns despite losing Odell Beckham Jr. to injury in their opening drive. On the other side, Joe Burrow also had a positive game as he threw for 406 yards and 3 touchdowns. The game looked over after the Bengals went up by 3 after scoring a touchdown with 1 minute left. Baker Mayfield then made some very clutch plays and the Browns scored a touchdown with 11 seconds left.

The Pittsburgh Steelers hold off the Tennessee Titans for a close win

The Steelers dominated the first half and the beginning of the second as they were up 27-7 at the beginning of the third quarter. The Titans then tried to mount a comeback but fell just short as the Steelers defence locked up in the fourth quarter. The Steelers eventually won 27-24 to keep their unbeaten record to 7.

The injury troubled Carolina Panthers lose to the New Orleans Saints

In a competitive game between the two NFC South rivals the Saints beat the Panthers 24-27. The Panthers are still missing some key players such as Christian McCaffrey. Despite that, they were able to hold their own against a Saints’ team that is still performing below expectations.

The Buffalo Bills unsurprisingly beat the New York Jets

The Bills won but didn’t do so in convincing fashion. The Jets went up 0-10 to start the game but the Bills eventually won by scoring 6 unanswered field goals to win 18-10. Josh Allen looked very good at the start of the season but seems to have slowed down in the past few weeks.

Washington destroys the Dallas Cowboys 25-3

The Dallas Cowboys lost quarterback Andy Dalton very early due to injury which meant 7th round rookie Ben DiNucci had to fill in. Washington then controlled the game and got an easy win. The Dallas Cowboys on the other hand keep struggling and seem to have no solution right now as they fall to third in the NFC East.

The Green Bay Packers dominate with win over the Houston Texans

The Packers were out for revenge after a tough loss against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in week 6. Aaron Rodgers bounced back by throwing for 283 yards and 4 touchdowns. Deshaun Watson tried to respond as he threw for 309 yards and 2 touchdowns but the Texans just seem to get worse every week. The Texans fall to 1-6 by losing 35-20 and seem to be completely out of the playoff race.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Las Vegas Raiders after an amazing fourth quarter

The game was close all throughout but Tampa Bay made the difference in the fourth quarter. They scored 3 unanswered touchdowns to win the game 45-20. The Buccaneers defence once again played great while the offence stepped up when it mattered the most. Tom Brady once again had a strong game as he threw for 369 yards and 4 touchdowns.

The Kansas City Chiefs get an easy 43-16 win against the Denver Broncos

The game went as expected. Kansas City jumped out to a quick lead and only grew it throughout the game. The Broncos fall to 2-4 and to the last place in the AFC East. The Chiefs on the other hand are looking like the strongest team in the league as they improve to 6-1.

The San Francisco 49ers beat the New England Patriots surprisingly easily

The relentless running attack from the 49ers was too much for the Patriots. San Francisco ran for 197 yards and 4 touchdowns. The Patriots, on the other hand, couldn’t do anything and even substituted Cam Newton for Jarret Stidham after he threw 3 interceptions. The final score was 33-6.

The Los Angeles Chargers win 29-39 against the Jacksonville Jaguars

Chargers’ rookie quarterback Justin Herbert gets his first win after multiple weeks of positive performances. He once again performed on a very high level as he threw for 367 yards and 4 touchdowns. The Chargers get their second win of a troubled season. The Jaguars keep struggling and don’t seem to have much hope. They fall to 1-6 and seem to have entered the tanking mode.

The Arizona Cardinals get an amazing comeback win against the Seattle Seahawks

Seattle had a 10 point lead in the fourth quarter but Russell Wilson then threw a rare fourth-quarter interception which gave Kyler Murray the opportunity to tie the game up. The Cardinals tied the game with a late field goal which sent the game to overtime. After a long overtime battle, the Cardinals broke the tie by scoring a field goal and winning the game 34-37.

The Los Angeles Rams beat the Chicago Bears in a low scoring game

Jared Goff avoided making mistakes and led the Rams to a solid 10-24 victory over the Bears. Jared Goff threw for 220 yards as the Rams defence made the difference by keeping the Bears to 10 points by forcing 2 interceptions.
